Starlings are loud, and the “me first” cries are very competitive, parent birds work fast to bring back meals and the chicks are eager to see them return. These are in our barn wall, I see them every day and finally took a photo. Our farm is home to so many different birds it is incredible.

They are so cute, a little male and female hop along the logs while father watches from the dish on our farm lawn.

The Flycatchers have nested in one of our boxes on the lawn, and are the only eastern flycatchers that do nest in holes. They have been quiet after a lot of activity, hopefully they are sitting on eggs and we will more action soon.

These are generally quick to fly, even tho we see many, it can be hard to get a clean shot of one. This female was distracted gather nesting material and I was able to sneak in a few shots.

Yep, I fell big time on a tippy piece of shale, it won. I was wet and bruised, the camera survived thank goodness! Located on the Bruce Trail near Heathcote Ontario in the Beaver Valley.
