Wild Turkey “Tom”
Absolutely beautiful in full breeding plumage … shimmering in the sun set.

A gorgeous night in Thornbury harbour, these young fellows seem to be out cruising for some action. As they mature their bills will turn bright orange.
The white line across the horizon it the ice line receding.
Easy Spring on the Beaver River, beautiful! they didn’t ge the message that there is still snow and ice on their nesting grounds … April fools?
Yes, they are back … now it’s a little harder to find the eagle for the flocks of vultures that make the valley their home.
They will soon be gone back to the far North … enjoying them while I can.
I guess this is isn’t exactly country side, however I hardly ever go to the big city. This was taken while waiting on CAA after the front left axel broke in my car, ripping out all the brake lines … oh ya – while I was exiting from the 401 to Yonge Street south … the tightest off ramp on the 401 … Emma got to the train at Union Station in plenty of time. I am now shopping for a new car.
Having a quick drink and a bit of a splash!
We had freezing rain along the Escarpment on Sunday, leaving the upper elevations coated in ice and snow. I happened across this beautiful scene, loving the way the barbed wire curled around the fence post to the key subject. One of my favourite owl photos.
This photo of me in a group taking photos was taken by Len Silvester of http://www.ttlphoto.com Len hosts phenomenal workshops for his own clients and other photographers that offer wildlife photos, sounds odd… but it isn’t. Len takes the time to scout the wildlife and set up locations that don’t disappoint. I was lucky enough to be in this photo with people who travelled around the world to photograph wild Snowy Owls. Thanks Len!
You just never know when you might see one of these while driving down Grey Road 31, in flight beside my car.
