I haven’t seen much of the Bald Eagles in the valley this summer, so I had thought they had left. I was so happy to go canoeing with my son and find that they are indeed back and raining two chicks again this year. This makes it three years in a row that they have anger to raise two, usually one eats the other if there isn’t enough food …

Two years ago my friend bob, brought me back this awesome Bluebird house from Florida. He has the same one and they love it. So I put up mine with hight expectations … they didn’t even look at it!… two years of moving it around the property and with in 24 hours at this spot, they were all over it! If you don’t have Bluebirds, keep moving the boxes until they prove of the location. This year “we” raised 12 chicks in our yard 🙂

Ever drive down the road with the window rolled down and hear a different bird chirping away? This bright blue fellow was singing up a storm, so of course I stopped and took a photo!

Early morning just after dawn, I was driving along this country road when a doe with twins was slowly crossing the road. This little fawn is watching it’s mom leave, however is in a conundrum because it knows they just came from a safe place. I believe this is how deer get hit, they can’t decide to follow or go back to a place they know is safe. It decided to go with mom. Photo taken through my windshield.
